Pursuing Excellence

P.A.T.H

At Russellville Middle School, students take part in P.A.T.H. lessons throughout the school year, taught by our school counselor, Ms. Michelle Murray. These lessons support students’ foundational wellness and cover topics such as safety, healthy relationships, kindness, coping skills, and resilience.

What we are covering this year: A grade-by-grade list of lesson titles, learning objectives, and prevention

topics are posted below:

Sixth Grade P.A.T.H. Overview

Seventh Grade P.A.T.H. Overview

Eighth Grade P.A.T.H. Overview

Reviewing materials: All student-facing P.A.T.H. materials are available through a Parent Access Link.

Contact your child’s school counselor to request access to the link. It opens the videos, handouts, and optional discussion questions used in class. The Educator Edition may be reviewed by appointment at the school.

Opting out: Parents may opt their children out of these lessons by submitting a written request to the school principal. Reviewing materials and opting out are separate processes. Parents are encouraged to request the Parent Access Link and review the materials first, and may opt out at any point during the year.
